Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Astra Holidays, we strive to make your travel planning smooth and transparent. We understand that travel plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines how cancellations and refunds work for bookings made through our website and services.

Cancellation Overview 

Once your booking is confirmed, cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to tours@astraholidays.in or through WhatsApp at +91 90039 33895

All cancellations will be processed according to:

  • The policy of the airlines, hotels, transport operators, activity providers, or any third-party suppliers involved in your itinerary.


  • The timeline when you submit your cancellation request.


  • The type of service booked (flight, hotel, tour package, activity, etc.).


Please note that Astra Holidays itself is not responsible for supplier charges or non-refundable portions of your booking.


Cancellation Charges


Cancellation charges vary based on:


  • Type of service booked


  • Supplier terms and conditions


  • How far in advance the cancellation is made


Examples of typical fee structures include:


  • More than 30 days before departure: Partial refund (less supplier cancellation fees)


  • 15–30 days before departure: Higher cancellation charges


  • 7–14 days before departure: Reduced refund amount


  • Less than 7 days / No-show: Usually no refund


Exact charges will be communicated at the time of cancellation based on your booking. (Supplier policies apply)



Refund Process

Once your cancellation is confirmed: 


  • The refund amount (if any) will be calculated after deducting all applicable supplier cancellation fees.


  • Refunds are usually issued to the original method of payment.


  • The processing time for refunds can vary depending on your bank or payment provider and may take up to 10–15 working days.


Some services may offer travel credits or vouchers instead of cash refunds, depending on the supplier’s terms.


Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain bookings or supplier tariffs may be strictly non-refundable. This includes:


  • Discounted or promotional packages with fixed cancellation rules


  • Special supplier-mandated non-refundable fares or services 


In such cases, no refund will be provided, even if travel plans change.


Travel Insurance


We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your trip against:


  • Cancellation due to medical emergencies


  • Missed connections


  • Natural disasters


  • Personal emergencies


Insurance claims must be made directly through your insurance provider. Astra Holidays is not liable for travel insurance or losses not covered by your policy.

To cancel a booking:
